There are horrible things going on inside slaughter houses these days. Especially with chickens whose beaks are caught off causing tremendous pain for weeks even months to come. After this the hens are then confined into small cages for up two years. The chickens will lay eggs in this environment. Also note that they are staved of food and water while in these cages...... what you can do- eat chicken that says cage free on the packaging or try organic foods. If you really wanna help chickens try avoiding meat all together. Be a vegan!
